Good afternoon Titans,

A huge round of applause to all of our athletes that competed in the Metros championships this past weekend! Congratulations to Sophie Bruce and Keira Majarowitz for placing 6th and 11th respectively in the diving finals, and to Kaleo Gonzalez-Divett for qualifying for the diving semi-finals. Shout out to the following athletes for competing at Metros: Grey Roszkowski, Olivia Green, James Edmunds Moore, Rachel Roddin, Margaux McMurry, Anjali Vadlamudi, AJ Windt, Alex Reineke, Henry Sandridge, Ethan Raab, Anna Nichols, and Lucy Stenger. Thank you to all of our team members that came out to support as well. Metros is an amazing opportunity for the best swimmers and divers in the DMV to compete, and all of our athletes rose to the occasion. Regionals

Regionals entries are limited to 2 entries per individual event, with the same rules as dual meets for individual entries (4 events total=2 individual, 2 relays). We have all of the volunteers we need for the meet so far, so thank you parents! If your child has a top 2 time in any event, expect for them to compete at regionals this weekend. We can also enter 1 relay per event. There will be some additional entries as well, depending on which swimmers have the top times and the balance of events. 

Please declare availability for regionals by tonight at 11:59 pm. I have a rough idea of who is going to be there, but just in case I would like formal confirmation of availability. Entries are due tomorrow at 7 p.m., and I would like to get them done by 4 p.m. in the case of any last minute changes. 

The swim and dive bulletin is attached with further details about warm up times, start times, and other event details for regionals AND states. The top 2 times of each event at the meet will move on to states, including relays. 

For diving, divers must complete their dive sheets on Dive meets. Divers must be able to complete 11 dives. Entries for diving close Feb. 11 at 10:00 AM.
